Job summary

Mitchells & Butler PLC is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef at the Plough Inn, Eynsford. You will lead a kitchen section, mentor junior chefs, and step in for the Head Chef when needed, ensuring consistency and smooth service across the brigade.

You will join Premium Country Pubs, renowned for premium food and warm hospitality. The role emphasizes training teams, managing stock, and maintaining high standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What will I be doing? AS SOUS CHEF

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
