Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to the Head Chef and ready to cover shifts when needed. You'll help run the line during service and support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management.

You'll lead a dynamic kitchen team, develop their skills, and uphold the highest standards of food and service while benefiting from Marston's career development opportunities and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branded role or as a Commis Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team.
• Passionate about maintaining high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be second in command to the Head Chef and cover shifts when needed.
• Support Head Chef in kitchen operations and management.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth service flow.
• Lead, coach and motivate the kitchen team to perform at their best.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock control and food safety standards.
