Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will lead by example, ensuring hot, quality food is presented to the pass with consistency on every shift.

As second in command, you’ll support the Head Chef, run the line during service, and help develop the kitchen team while upholding Marston’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branded kitchen role or as a Commis Chef is preferred.
• Ability to assist the Head Chef with kitchen operations.
• Capacity to run the line during service and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.

As Sous Chef you’ll:

Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encouragethe kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionateabout maintaining the highest standards of food and service
