Job summary

Rangeford Villages at Homewood Grove near Chertsey is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead our kitchen during service, ensure timely delivery of dishes, and maintain high standards of presentation in a warm retirement community setting.

You will train and develop the kitchen team, adapt menus to guest preferences, and uphold our commitment to guest care and exceptional service across on-site dining facilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible during service for timing and progress of all dishes.
• Responsibility for the Kitchen operation at all times.
• Responsibility for the training, induction and development of the kitchen brigade when required.
• To ensure that in the preparation and presentation of food, the highest standards are maintained at all times
• To constantly focus on guest care and service. Ensuring that everything that is done well improves and enhances the guest experience. Nothing is too much trouble attitude.
• To be fully conversant with the menu and to be adaptable with continual changes to ensure that the menu is kept in line with customer demands and Company policies.

There is direct convenient pedestrian access to the neighbouring Homewood Park which offers 23 hectares of nature trails and pathways suitable for wheelchairs.
