Job summary

EGO Cannock is part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC. We are seeking a Sous Chef who can lead a kitchen section, train staff to deliver consistent, great-tasting dishes and step up in the Head Chef’s absence.

You’ll work with a branded menu and help manage orders and stock to keep service running smoothly. You will join a supporting family of premium pubs and restaurants, with opportunities for progression, great discounts, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or senior kitchen role preferred.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and manage staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section and ensure the team works as a cohesive unit.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Ensure adherence to branded menus and quality standards.
• Oversee health and hygiene compliance in the kitchen.
