Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. Be in the heart of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and stepping in when needed.

You’ll run the line during service, coach the team, and uphold high standards of food and service. We offer a supportive career pathway and generous benefits to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef is advantageous.
• Able to assist the Head Chef and manage kitchen operations.
• Capable of running the line during service and leading the team.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in the kitchen as second in command to the Head Chef, covering shifts when needed.
• Run the line during service and maintain high standards of food and service.
• Oversee, organise and coach the kitchen team to develop skills and performance.

We’re on the lookout for a Sous Chef to join our team!

It’s time to turn up the heat in our kitchen! Leading by example, you’ll ensure hot, quality food that you and the team can be proud of gets presented to the pass each and every time.

As Sous Chef you’ll: Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service
