Job summary

Care UK is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our care home catering team. This full-time role (40 hours weekly) runs 4 days per week from 7:00 to 17:30 with alternate weekends.

You will create fresh, nutritious meals for residents and support the Head Chef while mentoring junior staff and upholding high hospitality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous care home experience or healthcare catering background, a passion for quality and consistency, and a collaborative, growth-minded

• Previous experience in a care home desirable.
• Healthcare catering experience preferred.

The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
