Job description

Job Opportunity: Sous Chef

Our client is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team located near Bude.

This role offers an average of 40-45 hours per week, with additional hours during peak season. You will work 5 days a week, with a combination of straight and split shifts.

Offering a competitive salary of £14.50 per hour, along with benefits including free onsite parking, access to the resort's gym and spa, and paid breaks for shifts exceeding 6 hours.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the head chef in planning and directing food preparation

  3. Ensure quality and consistency of all dishes served
  4. Train and supervise kitchen staff
  5. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  6. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of ingredients
  7. Assist in menu development and recipe creation
Requirements:
