Technical Sourcer - Engineering & Applied Science (EMEA)
6 months contract
London - Hybrid working
As a Technical Sourcer supporting EMEA, you will build the talent pipelines that power our Engineering and Applied Science teams. Partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leaders, you will translate hiring priorities into targeted sourcing strategies, engage exceptional technical talent, and bring market insights into real-time hiring decisions.
You will own sourcing strategy and upper-funnel execution across multiple EMEA markets, adapting your approach to different talent ecosystems, candidate motivations, and regional nuances. This role suits someone who combines hands-on sourcing expertise with sound judgment, curiosity, and the ability to turn data into action.
What You'll Do
- Own Regional Strategy: Develop and drive sourcing strategies across EMEA, tailoring your approach by role, level, location, and skill set for Engineering and Applied Science hiring.
- Pipeline Development: Build and manage healthy talent pipelines-from initial market mapping and identification through engagement, qualification, and smooth handoffs to recruiting partners.
- Stakeholder Calibration: Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to define target profiles, calibrate on candidate quality, establish priorities, and maintain feedback loops.
- Personalized Engagement: Engage passive, hard-to-reach technical talent through thoughtful, customized outreach that connects engineering challenges and business impact to candidate motivations.
- Data-Driven Sourcing: Use funnel data to track outreach response, qualification, and downstream conversion rates. Diagnose drop-offs and adjust messaging or targeting accordingly.
- Market Intelligence: Provide actionable EMEA talent insights, including competitor landscape, talent availability, compensation trends, and location-specific dynamics to guide hiring decisions.
- Modern Sourcing Tooling: Leverage AI-assisted research tools, workflow automation, and advanced search methods to increase efficiency while keeping candidate interactions personalized and thoughtful.
- Channel Diversification: Identify talent beyond standard boards by exploring GitHub, technical communities, open-source projects, and research networks.
- Data Integrity: Keep candidate records clean and up to date across ATS and CRM platforms to maintain reliable reporting and seamless team handoffs.
