About the role

Analysts within UK Sourcing provide rich insight and data on key product & supplier metrics globally as part of the JLP balanced global supply base. In this role, you will analyze, interpret, and present data to inform the UK Head of Sourcing and UK Category Sourcing Managers, supporting strategic commercial balanced sourcing plans. You will build collaborative relationships with key members of the UK Buying & Merchandising, Q&T, and Supplier Management communities, informing joint plans as part of daily operations. Your insights will influence the Sourcing team and broader Commercial teams. You need to clearly articulate your analysis and conclusions in both written and verbal form. The role requires working well under pressure, prioritizing workload, and applying strong digital skills and data analytics to support the UK Sourcing Team and Global Sourcing Offices. Use data insights to identify new and emerging regions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data from systems such as Boxi, Segura, Coupa, Tableau, Excel, Data Studio, Google Sheets, drawing conclusions and presenting insights clearly for commercial teams.
• Coordinate reporting cadence and contribute data to reporting decks.
• Support the CSM lead on E-Tenders, managing the end-to-end process, tracking stakeholders, and suggesting process improvements.
• Facilitate supplier scorecard coordination with Commercial Managers, analyzing results and formatting reports for sharing.
• Act in accordance with the Partnership's purpose and principles, participating constructively, sharing knowledge, and contributing to continuous improvement.

• Engage actively with change initiatives.

Essential skills/experience

• Proficiency in data analysis, pivot tables, Tableau, Excel, Google Studio, BOXI, data systems, and ERP systems like Coupa.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in coordinating sourcing projects and initiatives.
• Good understanding of market and commodity research techniques.

Desirable skills/experience

• Experience with supplier scorecarding and evaluation.

Additional information

This role is based at our Pimlico Head Office with a hybrid working pattern, typically around 2 days in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexibility for ad-hoc meetings. Salary ranges from £40,800 to £48,000 depending on experience. The position is permanent.
