About the role

Analysts within UK Sourcing provide rich insight and data on key product & supplier metrics globally as part of the JLP balanced global supply base.

In this role, you will effectively analyse, interpret, and present data to inform the UK Head of Sourcing and UK Category Sourcing Managers, supporting strategic commercial balanced sourcing plans.

Build collaborative relationships with key members of the UK Buying & Merchandising, Q&T & Supplier Management communities, informing joint plans as part of day-to-day operations.
Your input will influence and provide relevant insight to the Sourcing team and broader Commercial teams. You need to clearly articulate your analysis and conclusions from data in both written and verbal forms.

Your ability to work well under pressure, prioritize workload, and apply strong digital skills and data analytics will support the UK Sourcing Team and Global Sourcing Offices.

Use data insight to identify new & emerging regions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

1. Analyse data from systems such as Boxi, Segura, Coupa, Tableau, Excel, Data Studio, Google Sheets, drawing conclusions and presenting insights clearly and accessibly.
2. Coordinate reporting cadences and contribute data to reporting decks.
3. Support the CSM lead on E-Tenders by managing timelines, stakeholder engagement, and process improvements.
4. Facilitate supplier scorecard coordination with Commercial Managers, supporting analysis and presentation of results.
5. Act in accordance with the Partnership’s purpose and principles, contributing to continuous improvement and sharing knowledge and ideas.
6. Invest in personal and professional development, engaging actively with your profession.
7. Take responsibility for engaging with change actively.

Essential skills/experience

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as pivot tables, Tableau, Excel, Google Data Studio, BOXI, and ERP systems like Coupa.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in coordinating sourcing projects and initiatives.
• Good understanding of market and commodity research techniques.

Desirable skills/experience

• Experience with supplier scorecarding and evaluation.
