Job summary

Reed in Tyseley, Birmingham is recruiting for a Sourcing Administrator to join a growing industrial consumables and supply chain business. This permanent role offers an immediate start and a clear path to long-term progression.

You will support the Sourcing Manager and commercial team, handling supplier contact, pricing requests and data entry with accuracy. Responsibilities include sourcing products, obtaining supplier quotes for customer tenders, loading orders into the ERP system, and

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Sourcing Administrator, Commercial Administrator or Purchasing Administrator role.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems and supplier management.

Responsibilities

Support the Sourcing Manager with sourcing and commercial activities.
Obtain costs and supplier information to support quotations and tenders.
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to source products and obtain best pricing.
Load orders onto the ERP system and maintain data accuracy.
Ensure quotations are completed accurately and returned on time.
Monitor supplier information and pricing for cost-saving opportunities.
