Role Responsibilities

1. Perform and independently report on a wide range of ultrasound examinations, drawing conclusions and recommending further investigations.
2. Communicate complex diagnostic and treatment information with clinicians and patients within a multidisciplinary team.
3. Explain ultrasound procedures to patients, including risks and benefits, to obtain informed consent ethically.
4. Adhere to standards and policies to ensure high-quality imaging services, and guide junior staff.
5. Assist in developing protocols, procedures, and training manuals.
6. Contribute to evidence-based protocols and identify improvements when necessary.
