BPAS in Birmingham Central is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our Clinical Teams for 15 hours per week (Mondays and Tuesdays). You will perform obstetric dating scans and gynaecological scans, with focus on early pregnancy dating and HC measurements to determine gestational age, including post-treatment checks.
You must be a qualified sonographer or registered Adult Nurse or Midwife with a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound, and be registered with NMC or HCPC.
Are you a sonographer looking for a new role where you can use your specialist knowledge of obstetrics & gynaecology ultrasound?, We're looking for an experienced Sonographer to join our Clinical Teams working in our unit in Birmingham Central. This is for 15 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays. As a sonographer at BPAS, you will be performing high-quality obstetric dating scans as well as gynaecological scans to assess for RPOC. The main focus of the role consists of early pregnancy/dating scans but also dating in the second trimester performing HC measurements to determine a gestational age & post-treatment checks.,
You will be a qualified sonographer or registered Adult Nurse or Midwife but must possess a minimum Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound qualification. You'll have a minimum of 1 years experience since the completion of your Post Graduate Certification and will be registered with a professional body, either the NMC or HCPC.
You’ll be client-focused & someone who considers themselves a team player. As subject matter experts, you will be expected to advise, support & occasionally mentor BPAS Nurses or Midwives who have undertaken a basic CASE-accredited Ultrasound course, should they require a second opinion or input from a more qualified Ultrasound practitioner.
