Job summary

Oxford Natural Healthcare Professionals is seeking a HCPC-registered Sonographer (SOR & PI insurance) for our Leicester clinic. The role focuses on delivering first-class obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound services with compassionate patient care.

You will perform 6–40 week scans, produce clear images, and explain results to patients. HCPC registration, SOR membership, and PI insurance are required, with sponsorship not offered. Right to Work in UK is essential.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and SOR membership (including PI insurance).
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound.
• Strong communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work compassionately in sensitive situations.
• Right to Work in UK (Sponsorships not offered).

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate scans from 6-40 weeks gestation using internal and external techniques.
• Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound services, including reassurance and gender scans.
• Produce clear, accurate images and explain scan outcomes with professionalism and empathy.
• Handle sensitive situations with empathy, following NHS referral pathways when anomalies are identified.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to create a patient-centred experience.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including ALARA principles.
• Maintain HCPC and SOR registrations and support training of colleagues.
• Ensure accurate administration and record-keeping.
