Job summary

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Sonographer on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. This is a full-time post, 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary band and pro rata terms.

You will contribute to our expanding diagnostic services, joining the team delivering high-quality imaging as we launch the new Community Diagnostic Centre. A patient-centered approach and collaboration with colleagues are essential.

Band 7 (£49,387 - £56,515 pro rata, per annum)

Fixed-Term Contract (12 months Maternity Cover)

Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

We are recruiting for a 12 month fixed term Sonographer who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey.

This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we work towards launching our newly developed £10m Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that will deliver first-class diagnostic care to our community.

The new centre will have the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.
