Job summary

Hampshire Luxury Hotel is seeking an experienced Sommelier for a luxury boutique property near Basingstoke in Hampshire. The role includes learning a comprehensive wine list and working closely with the restaurant team during service to ensure guests' beverage needs are met with exceptional hospitality.

The successful candidate will have prior Sommelier experience, WSET Level 2 minimum, immaculate presentation, and the ability to be a confident, guest-focused figurehead for the department under

• The successful Sommelier will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a poised, immaculate representative of the department.
• Experience as a Sommelier in a similar dining concept is preferred.
• WSET Level 2 minimum is required.

The successful Sommelier will have the following:

• Previous experience as a Sommelier within similar dining concept
• WSET level 2 minimum

• To be a pivotal and charismatic figurehead for the department ensuring the highest levels of hospitality are achieved
• Be patient and comfortable working under pressure
