Job summary

Keysight in the UK is seeking a Solution Engineer to work closely with Sales Engineers, anticipating customer test challenges and delivering the best measurement solutions.

You will be the technical interface between customers and Keysight product development, joining a team of 20+ experts across EMEA to expand business with your deep RF expertise.

The role involves leading engagements, defining setups and demos, and producing proposals for multiple market segments, with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Telecommunitations, Electronics Engineering, Physics or related fields is required; Master’s preferred (RF/MW/mmW focus).
• Ideally 3–6 years of experience in test & measurement or RF system validation.
• Practical experience using Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Vector Signal Analyzers is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of RF/MW test fundamentals in theory and practical measurement applications.
• Understanding generation, demodulation and analysis of digital communication signals.
• Knowledge of wireless physical layers and antenna measurement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, industry experts, and R&D to architect solutions for complex RF challenges.
• Lead customer engagements from a technical engineering standpoint.
• Manage requirements for a wide range of signal analysis and generation, and electronic component test applications.
• Define and execute measurement setups, demos, and technical proposals.
• Collaborate with international teams like factories, engineering, and sales.
• Support delivery: instrument configuration, automation workflows, verification tests, and user training.
• Conduct technical sessions (workshops, seminars) and produce concise technical documentation.
• Customer visits require frequent travel (>50% of work time).

About the role:

The Solution Engineer works very close together with our Sales Engineers and plays an important role to anticipate customer test challenges and find the best solution for their measurement applications.

• Knowledge of key technologies used in different market segments like 5G and LTE.
• Knowledge of wireless Physical layers.
• UK or EU citizenship is required
