Job summary

Sonar is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team. You will deliver deep technical expertise to prospective customers, support evaluations, and align our Clean as You Code approach with their development lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Development to shape messaging and drive technical adoption of Sonar. The role emphasizes hands-on demonstrations, technical problem solving, and cross-team collaboration, with opportunities to influence product evolution and

Qualifications

Proven practical experience in software development or DevOps engineering.
Knowledge of local and cloud deployment platforms including Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and Azure.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and articulate solutions.
Proven teamwork and knowledge-sharing abilities.
Can-do attitude and drive for improvements.
Excellent English and German communication skills.

Responsibilities

Help prospective customers understand how our Clean as You Code approach fits within their software development life cycle.
Drive technical presentations and demonstrations and support product evaluations.
Advise customers on the best alignment of the Sonar solution with their deployment strategy.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems encountered by prospective customers evaluating our products.
Go beyond the sale to ensure product adoption, coordinating with Customer Success and Support teams.
Provide technical enablement to channel partners to raise their level of service.
