Job summary

ICIS is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Data Platforms & Analytics in London, offering a hybrid work model with in-office presence required. You will lead technical discovery, design data integrations, and drive AI-enabled analytics for customer use cases.

The role blends data engineering with strategic customer engagement to maximise ICIS data value. You will work with SQL, Python and cloud data architectures, collaborating across sales and product teams to translate business needs into

Qualifications

• Customer-facing authority with proven track record in leading technical workshops.
• Strong commercial instinct and ability to articulate business impact of technical solutions.
• Practical understanding of modern AI ecosystems including LLMs, AI agents, and retrieval-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python; comfortable developing demonstrations, proofs of concept and technical validations.
• Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or similar data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to understand customer objectives and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Act as technical lead throughout the sales process, supporting validation and value proof activities.
• Architect integration of ICIS data into customers' analytics and AI ecosystems.
• Collaborate with partners to optimise data consumption across data platforms and workflows.
• Provide market feedback to shape product strategy.
