The Opportunity
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the technical expert at the heart of the sales cycle - engaging deeply with prospective customers to understand their challenges, demonstrate how Solidatus can solve them, and guide them through their buying journey.
You'll collaborate closely with our Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, and help shape the future of how data-driven organizations evaluate and adopt Solidatus. Your primary focus will be supporting our growth across Europe.
What You'll Be Doing
- Showcase the value of Solidatus through live product demos tailored to the prospect's business needs.
- Engage directly with prospects to understand their technical and operational challenges through deep discovery - and design compelling value-based solutions.
- Own and manage Customer Evaluations, working hands-on with clients to validate Solidatus in real-world use cases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and Training to ensure a seamless handover and long-term success.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and complex technical queries with clarity, precision, and speed.
- Provide subject-matter expertise to customers and internal teams, especially where deep technical insight is needed.
- Champion the voice of the customer, working with the Product team to feed insights and ideas into future development.
- Support enablement through workshops, training sessions, and onboarding support as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years in a Pre-sales or Solutions Engineering role, ideally in a data-driven software environment
- Deep understanding of Data Management disciplines, especially Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
- Exceptional communication skills - able to connect with technical and non-technical audiences, adapt quickly, and tell compelling stories
- Track record of running successful demos, Evaluations, and technical workshops with enterprise clients
- Experience crafting compelling Value-based proposals with compelling ROI
Bonus Points For:
- Hands-on knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, SQL, or similar languages
- Experience working with databases, ETL tools, or data visualization/reporting platforms
- Previous experience with regulatory compliance, financial services, or enterprise architecture solutions
