Job summary

John Charles Search is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer for a fast-growing intralogistics and automation business in the UK. You will design conveyor systems and integrated automation solutions, working closely with the sales team to translate client needs into tailored designs and proposals.

You will produce detailed layouts and concepts, assess technical feasibility, and support projects end-to-end, delivering high-quality, efficient solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD and automation technologies (sortation, robotics, AGVs/AMRs).
• Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Automation, or related field.
