Job summary

Uniting Ambition is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to craft materials handling and warehouse automation solutions. You will design using AutoCAD, model data flows, and prepare proposal documents for UK clients.

£55-65k salary, UK-based with Midlands offices for occasional meetings; role central to UK expansion and client designs. Strong presentation and problem-solving skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience in material handling design work.
• Experience in AutoCAD and Excel as a minimum.
• Understanding of material handling industry terms, processes and tolerances.
• Awareness of automated warehouse technology.
• Be able to present your design to the end customer.
• Keeping abreast of product developments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The business is expanding in the UK, providing automated warehouse management solutions and material handling solutions.

An innovative and idea welcoming environment, seeking ambitious and innovative mechanical / electromechanical engineers.

This role is central to the UK expansion and will provide designs for new clients, building solutions to meet automation requirements in warehouses and material handling.

The role

• Working on designing clever solutions for materials handling and warehouse automation using AutoCAD
• Analysing and communicating / documenting customer requirements
