Hunter Selection is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to drive innovation from concept to completion. You will lead development of new techniques and take ownership of projects while collaborating with management, production, and clients.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 3D CAD skills (AutoCAD or Inventor), and strong problem-solving, with responsibilities including risk assessments, detailed design, drawings, BOMs, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; AutoCAD or Inventor desirable.
• Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, or automated production environments.
• Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (typically Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD (AutoCAD and Inventor desirable but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of advanced engineering principles and practices within conveyors, special purpose machinery, lifts, hydraulics, pneumatics, agricultural, production lines or automated production sectors or environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing situations.
• Commitment to Continuous Professional Development and engagement with industry activities.
