Job summary

Firstwork is seeking a seasoned Solutions Consultant to join our Europe-wide team. You will lead discovery with operations, compliance and IT stakeholders, run on-site customer workshops across Europe, and deliver demonstrations tailored to the customer’s room.

You’ll design technical solutions, qualify requirements, and guide proofs of concept through security and compliance reviews. You will work with forward-deployed engineers to translate workshop notes into concrete requirements, ensuring

Qualifications

• Four or more years in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or a forward-deployed/implementation role.
• Experience with enterprise platforms (Rippling, Deel, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Bullhorn, UKG) or similar complexity.
• Understanding of HR, workforce, or compliance operations.
• Technical credibility on APIs, integrations, data models and security questionnaires.
• Clear writing; ability to translate notes into structured requirements quickly.
• Prototyping during workshops and turning notes into concrete requirements the same day.
• Awareness of agent behaviors and system handoffs between human review and automation.

About Firstwork

Labour markets are broken. Millions of people are ready to work and can't start. Screening, right-to-work checks, contracts, onboarding and scheduling still run across disconnected systems, with hundreds of manual decisions in between. Firstwork builds AI agents that run frontline workforce operations end to end. We activate hundreds of thousands of workers a month globally for some of the world's largest employers and staffing firms, working forward-deployed inside the customer's operation. Why this role

Our deals are won and lost in the technical room. By the time an enterprise customer is taking us seriously, the conversation has moved on to their document types, their screening vendors, their ATS, their audit requirements and the precise reason onboarding currently takes them eleven days. Someone has to sit in that room, understand how the operation really runs, and design something that survives procurement, security review and technical validation.

The product is configured to each customer's operational reality, so this is genuine solution design. What you produce goes to our forward-deployed engineers, and it has to be accurate enough for them to build against. You are the first Solutions Consultant in Europe, which means you set how we run discovery, demos, and implementation planning across the region.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Four or more years in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or a forward-deployed or implementation role

• Time at Rippling, Deel, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Bullhorn, UKG, Fountain, or somewhere with comparable enterprise complexity

• Enough understanding of HR, workforce or compliance operations to push back on a customer's assumptions

• Technical credibility on APIs, integrations, data models and security questionnaires

• Clear writing. Vague scoping documents turn into implementation problems six months later

• A habit of prototyping during the workshop instead of after it, and turning notes into structured requirements the same day

• Fluency in how agents behave. Where they work, where they need a human to review, and what our system does when it isn't sure
