Job summary

NatureMetrics is hiring a Solutions Ecologist to support the Commercial team with ecological expertise, bid design, and expert delivery. You will translate complex nature data—eDNA, bioacoustics, and habitat assessments—into compelling proposals and client-ready narratives.

You will lead technical discovery, contribute to land-scale bids, and mentor the sales force in ecological language. The role blends science rigor with strategic sales enablement in a hybrid London/Guildford setting.

Qualifications

• Strong ecology background with client-facing experience.
• Ability to interpret ecological data using scripting languages.
• Familiarity with TNFD, BNG, CSRD regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical backbone for commercial sales and client engagements.
• Translate complex ecological data into clear client narratives and proposals.
• Collaborate with Ecology, Operations and Sales to deliver precise scoping and timelines.
• Ensure all client-facing content reflects global best practices and accuracy.
