Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead enterprise-scale design in a major UK public-sector tech environment. The role focuses on modern integration architecture, SaaS, microservices, APIs, cloud and event-driven patterns.

You will collaborate with engineering, delivery and senior stakeholders to ensure scalable, commercially viable solutions and to drive architectural governance. Hybrid work with UK sites is offered.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior/Lead Solutions Architect.
• Deep UK public-sector experience.
• Strong architecture experience with microservices and APIs.
• Extensive SaaS selection, implementation and integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience designing solutions using AWS, Azure or other public cloud platforms.
• Strong experience producing solution architecture views and technical design artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to organisational architecture standards.
• Lead architecture across complex, enterprise-scale programmes.
• Design solutions using microservices, APIs, file-based integrations and event-driven architecture.
• Support the selection and implementation of SaaS products.
• Produce clear architecture views, HLDs and supporting design documentation.
• Design solutions using public cloud technologies and patterns.
• Develop technology/product roadmaps and present designs through architecture governance.

Rate: Up to £750 per day, Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
Sites: Manchester, Leeds, Blackpool, Sheffield or Newcastle

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support a major, large-scale public-sector technology environment.

You will lead the design of enterprise-scale solutions, working closely with engineering, delivery and senior stakeholder teams. The role will focus heavily on modern integration architecture, SaaS, microservices, APIs, cloud and event-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to organisational architecture standards.
• Lead architecture across complex, enterprise-scale programmes.
• Design solutions using microservices, APIs, file-based integrations and event-driven architecture.
