Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Solutions Architect for Identity & Access Management (IAM) across the EMEA region. The role combines enterprise-grade security, system integration, and strategic guidance to major clients from London, with hybrid work arrangements.

You will lead migrations, define authentication models (SSO, IDP, SAML/SCIM), and coordinate cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, and support to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.

Job Title: Solutions Architect – Identity & Access Management (EMEA)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid) / EMEA

Contract Duration: 12 months

Salary: £107,993 per year

Role Overview

As a Solutions Architect on this global team, you will act as a key technical consultant enabling top-tier enterprise organizations across EMEA to transition and optimize their marketing technology integrations. You will bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution, leading complex Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives that allow clients to realize the full potential of industry-leading digital advertising platforms.

This role focuses heavily on leading enterprise account transitions—specifically guiding client engineering and security teams away from legacy setup structures toward streamlined, enterprise-grade authentication models (SSO, IDP, SAML/SCIM).

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Consultancy: Serve as the subject matter expert on enterprise access and integration architecture for marketing and IT leadership at top-tier companies across EMEA.
• Account Migration & Architecture: Lead end-to-end client setup, design, and migration planning to transition accounts to dedicated business identity frameworks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical bridge between enterprise client teams, internal sales, technical support, and core engineering groups.
• Product Feedback Loop: Translate client migration challenges and feature requests into structured insights to directly influence product and platform roadmap development.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively unblock technical hurdles during integration lifecycle phases and manage timely resolution of complex tier-3 support tickets.
• Scale & Governance: Implement standardized onboarding processes defined by leadership while ensuring full compliance with international data privacy standards (GDPR) and corporate security policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Sufficient years of experience in client-facing technical roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer).
• Deep technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including IDP/IDaaS, SSO, SAML/SCIM, user provisioning, and access governance.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end, large-scale technical migration projects or global integration programs.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong consultative mindset—able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.
• Experience with web, mobile, or enterprise technology stacks and deploying large partner integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on familiarity with leading Identity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, SailPoint).
• Experience with API workflows, testing tools (Postman, Swagger), and API documentation.
• Knowledge of AdTech, digital marketing platforms, or digital advertising ecosystems.
• Professional fluency in an additional European language (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese).
• AI literacy—practical experience using generative AI tools to streamline technical workflows and increase productivity.

Performance Metrics

• Total volume and execution speed of client account onboardings across EMEA.
• Direct feedback contributions provided to internal product engineering teams.
• Effective stakeholder management and success in unblocking high-complexity integration challenges.
