What you'll do:

You will be responsible for:

  1. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand, define, and agree on business requirements.
  2. Gathering operational requirements, analyzing data, and developing layouts to maximize capacity and efficiency.
  3. Using engineering insights to influence outcomes and educate others on technology opportunities and limitations.
  4. Creating or supporting business cases for future automation solutions.
  5. Leading or supporting 3PLs in integrating automation technologies to streamline operations.
  6. Designing future warehousing layouts to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.
  7. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources for successful delivery.
  8. Providing technical assessments to ensure design requirements are met.
  9. Aligning building design with automation requirements.
  10. Conducting simulation and emulation analyses to demonstrate benefits.
  11. Considering equipment options, resilience, and redundancy.
  12. Supporting operational testing and post-implementation improvements.

Who you are:

You are a highly skilled professional with expertise in operational design, processes, and logistics solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in engineering design and project management.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
