Job summary

Kainos in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solution Architect (Manager) to lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver high quality solutions that delight customers worldwide. You will work with customer architects to align functional and non-functional designs and advise on effort, complexity and technical implications.

You will coach and develop a small team, guiding performance and career progression.

Qualifications

• Delivered software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications.
• Understands whole solution architecture concepts and can communicate these with customer architects.
• Prioritise non-functional requirements and incorporate them into design.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure (SaaS/PaaS).
• Able to communicate technical design clearly in conversation, documentation and presentations.
• Make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery.
• Experience coaching and developing junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver high quality solutions.
• Collaborate with customer architects to agree designs and estimate effort, technical implications and complexity.
• Provide direction and leadership, coaching staff and supporting career development.
