Job description

We are recruiting for a Solution Architect to join a large, well-respected organisation for a permanent position. You will support the Lead Solution Architect and the wider team to ensure that IT solutions and programmes across the organisation are suitably architected, designed, and coordinated to deliver the organisation's purpose.

Your role

You will be responsible for producing and guiding the development of solution architectures in response to both technology-driven and business-led demands. This involves creating Solution Concepts or High-Level Designs that provide a comprehensive overview of the target solution across business, data, application, and technology domains. You will support the Lead Solution Architect in creating these designs and collaborate closely with the design team to ensure alignment with the overarching architecture. Additionally, you will manage necessary design changes and oversee the project through to implementation and delivery.

Experience developing solution roadmaps and an overall solution architecture background would be advantageous. Suitable candidates might also be known as junior solution architects, IT architects, technical architects, or enterprise architects.
