The Role:

The Data Architect (DA) is a key member of our Global Services organization, responsible for ensuring data processes are correctly implemented and maintained for our clients and partners. The DA acts as the data expert for Marigold, providing advice, best practices, and collaborating on solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting.


Successful candidates will be customer-focused, technically skilled, committed to continuous improvement, adept at building personal networks, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have an excellent eye for detail to ensure high-quality delivery.


Responsibilities:

  1. Execute integration projects, connecting data from clients’ and partners’ systems with the Selligent platform.
  2. Maintain and optimize the performance of client and partner instances of Selligent.
  3. Understand the underlying consumer data that powers client programs and explain this to clients and partners, enabling them to develop their programs further.
  4. Translate new business use cases into technical data requirements.
  5. Estimate project scopes based on requirements and manage deliverables according to project plans.
  6. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with data entering, within, or exiting the Selligent platform.
  7. Collaborate effectively with team members and take on new tasks with a positive attitude.


Ideal Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft T-SQL in a Data Cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, and AWS.
  • Experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs, XML/XSL, and integration techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to consult with marketers about campaigns based on internet knowledge.
  • Ability to collaborate with local and remote teams across time zones.
  • Experience in digital marketing and loyalty industries is highly preferred.
