Job summary

PureKat Consultancy in Haverhill, England, is seeking an experienced Design Technician to turn approved concepts and site information into accurate 3D models, manufacturing drawings and supporting technical information. Qualifications

• Experience using SolidWorks or a comparable 3D CAD package.
• Ability to produce clear and accurate manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Strong understanding of dimensions, tolerances, materials and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Developing bespoke designs from client briefs, specifications and site information.
• Preparing drawings and technical information for manufacture, assembly and installation.
• Ensuring designs are suitable for available machinery, materials and manufacturing methods.
• Applying dimensions, tolerances, fixings and construction details.
• Checking designs for accuracy, functionality and buildability.
