Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is looking for a Junior CAD Technician with SolidWorks experience in Hastings. The role offers training, progression opportunities and company benefits, with a salary of £26,000 - £35,000.

You will create and develop 3D models and assemblies, convert customer 2D drawings into accurate designs for approval, and produce detailed manufacturing drawings. Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, in a well-established engineering environment.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks experience and 3D modelling capabilities.
• Ability to convert 2D drawings to 3D designs for production.
• Attention to detail to meet specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Manage projects from concept through to manufacture, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, specifications and deadlines.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to resolve technical queries and manage design documentation for successful project delivery.

This role is Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm.
