Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a CAD Draughtsperson in Exeter to produce high-quality 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings for bespoke electromechanical products. You will work closely with design engineers to transform concepts into accurate fabrication documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 2+ years of SolidWorks experience, strong 3D modelling, AutoCAD literacy, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects to fixed deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years SolidWorks experience in engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Strong 3D modelling and detailing skills.
• Experience with weldments and sheet metal design.
• AutoCAD experience for interpreting client drawings and layouts.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
• Create accurate 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Generate drawing packs, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Produce layouts, diagrams and illustrations for documentation and manuals.
• Maintain drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure manufacturability.
