Job summary

James Fay Solicitors, based in Dungannon, is seeking an experienced solicitor with strong conveyancing and private client experience to join a growing independent practice. You will manage your own caseload and contribute to a small team within a modern office.

Applicants should have 3+ years PQE, excellent client care, and a commercially minded approach. There is flexibility for hybrid working and development of your own areas of interest.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ PQE, though candidates with relevant experience at other levels will be considered
• Strong practical experience in conveyancing and wills/probate
• Ability to manage your own caseload with a good degree of autonomy
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Professional, practical and commercially minded approach
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team
• Experience in family law or civil litigation would be advantageous but not essential

James Fay Solicitors is a growing independent law firm based in Dungannon. Due to continued growth, it is seeking to recruit an experienced solicitor to join its team.

The firm is particularly interested in hearing from solicitors with strong experience in conveyancing and wills/probate who are looking for a role within a growing, modern practice.

The Role

The Successful Candidate Will Primarily Deal With

• Conveyancing, including sales, purchases and remortgages, residential and commercial
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• General private client work

Experience in family law and/or civil litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.

There will also be scope for the successful candidate to develop their own areas of interest and undertake a broader range of general practice work where appropriate.

About You

Ideally, you will have:
