Job summary

Carpenters Limited seeks a Solicitor or CILEX qualified lawyer to manage a caseload of personal injury claims, with emphasis on RTA matters. You will progress portal cases into Fast Track or Multi-Track, maximise damages and recoverable costs, while maintaining proactive client communications and insurer loyalty.

Experience in fast and multi-track caseloads, portal lift applications, and strong IT skills with Solcase are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX with experience in personal injury
• Experience handling fast track and multi-track claims
• Proven ability to manage stayed portal cases and lift stays
• Strong client care and analytical skills
• Familiarity with CPR and relevant case law

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with lay and insurance clients throughout each claim
• Progress claims from portal to fast track and/or multi-track
• Discuss liability and quantum offers with parties
• Obtain medical reports promptly and manage deadlines
• Liaise with external agencies, investigators, and medical professionals
• Support junior team members and share knowledge
• Maintain excellent client service and seek positive outcomes
• Collaborate with Team Leader/Head of Department on contentious files
