Job summary

HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a motivated Property Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Conveyancer to join our residential property team in Swansea. You will manage a varied caseload including new build and residential transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts while advising clients throughout the process.

The role requires strong knowledge of property law, excellent communication, and an independent, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Conveyancer with experience in new build property transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and client-focused approach to managing relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
• Familiarity with case management systems and MS Office suite.
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of residential property and new build transactions from start to finish.
• Conduct property searches and due diligence, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for sale, lease agreements, and related documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the transaction process.
• Handle registrations with the Land Registry and manage Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Stay updated with relevant laws and industry best practices.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a varied caseload of property transactions inclusive of New Build and Residential caseload, whilst working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
