Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group is looking for a Solder/Assembler in Ferndown to join a well-established local manufacturer. The role offers on-site work with training provided to bring you up to speed.

You will solder components, assemble electronic and mechanical parts, and follow detailed diagrams or instructions. The position features weekly pay and overtime at premium rates in a stable environment.

Qualifications

• Soldering experience preferred; IPC standards are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in electronics/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow technical diagrams or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Solder components and wires to a high standard.
• Build electronic and mechanical assemblies accurately.
• Read and work from technical diagrams and specifications.
• Use hand tools correctly and safely.
• Carry out basic inspection of completed work.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
