Job summary

Emtec Energy is seeking a Site Manager - Solar to lead on-site delivery of renewable energy projects. You will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, on time and to required standards.

This site-based role requires flexibility to travel across the UK and stay away from home when required, with opportunities to progress within a growing renewables business.

Qualifications

• Strong site management experience within construction, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on solar PV, BESS, grid infrastructure or similar energy projects preferred.
• SMSTS and CSCS card holders are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities across renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and contractors to keep works on programme.
• Monitor site safety, quality and progress and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, RAMS and company Health & Safety procedures.
• Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety checks.
• Work closely with project, engineering and commercial teams throughout delivery.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other key stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance, commissioning and project handover.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks and site performance.
