Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking experienced Solar PV roofers to join a growing domestic renewable energy business in the UK. The role covers installing roof-mounted elements of domestic Solar PV systems on pitched roofs, with a permanent employed position, regular work across the UK, and a company vehicle.

You will work alongside qualified electricians, handle mounting systems, rails, brackets, and panels, and maintain high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing domestic Solar PV systems.
• Experience fitting solar panels, rails, brackets and mounting systems.
• Confidence working safely on domestic pitched roofs.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing Solar PV mounting systems and roof brackets.

Solar PV Roofer / Solar Panel Installer

Looking to move into a permanent, employed Solar PV position?

We are recruiting experienced Solar Roofers, Solar PV Installers and Solar Panel Installers to join one of the country's fastest-growing domestic renewable energy businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Solar PV installers who want the security of permanent employment, consistent work in their local region, excellent benefits.

You will work alongside qualified electricians, completing the roof installation element of domestic Solar PV systems.

Electrical qualifications are not required for this position.

The Role

Working as part of a professional Solar PV installation team, you will be responsible for installing the roof-mounted elements of domestic Solar PV systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing Solar PV mounting systems and roof brackets
• Fitting rails and Solar PV panels to domestic pitched roofs
• Working safely at height
• Working alongside qualified Solar PV Electricians
• Ensuring installations meet company quality standards
• Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
• Completing installation documentation where required
• Delivering high-quality workmanship on every installation

The business has a significant and growing pipeline of Solar PV and Battery Storage work.

This is a permanent, employed position offering consistent work throughout the year rather than short-term projects or subcontract work.

About You

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience installing domestic Solar PV systems
• Experience fitting solar panels, rails, brackets and mounting systems
• Confidence working safely on domestic pitched roofs
• Good knowledge of working at height and site safety
• A full UK Driving Licence
• A positive attitude and pride in the quality of your work

You do not need to be a qualified Electrician.

We are specifically looking for people who already have experience installing Solar PV systems on domestic roofs and can join an established installation operation.
