Job summary

A long standing partner in Fareham is seeking an experienced Solar PV Installs Manager to lead installation teams in the high-end residential sector. You’ll oversee multiple teams, start at 7:30am and typically finish around 4:30pm, with overtime likely.

Qualifications

• Experienced Solar PV electrician or supervisor moving into management.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in local postcodes and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Take day to day responsibility for the smooth running of multiple Solar PV installation teams, each typically completing around one installation per day.
• Start the day at 7:30am, review the schedule, resolve issues and ensure installers have what they need before site.
• Work with the surveyor and delivery driver to coordinate materials and site requirements.
• Act as main contact for installation teams and provide support on site.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and customer requests, resolving quickly.
• Take hands-on approach to problem solving and lead by example.
• Provide effective people management to ensure standards and customer service.
• Monitor progress of installations and address operational issues early.
• Collaborate with Directors and own installation side of the business until full ownership.
• Spend initial time learning processes and culture before taking full ownership.
