Job summary

Tarven Solar Energy is seeking a qualified Electrician to install, test, commission, maintain and repair solar PV systems and related electrical infrastructure.

The role covers domestic properties, new build developments and commercial projects, with responsibilities including reading drawings, performing AC/DC installations, system testing, fault-finding, and site reports. DBS check and UK-based travel required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installation with an NVQ (or equivalent).
• Gold card JIB preferred.
• 2391 Test & Inspection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and balance-of-system components.
• Perform AC and DC electrical installations in residential and commercial environments.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Conduct system testing, fault-finding, and performance verification.
• Carry out electrical installation on new build developments and related electrical work, including EV chargers and lighting.”,
