Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join a growing renewable energy contractor in Hampshire. You will install, test, and commission solar PV systems on new build residential developments, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and safety standards.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, 2391 testing, and a valid CSCS/ECS card, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations are required.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is essential.
• Level 3 Award in Solar PV Installation or equivalent certification is essential.
• Experience installing or working with Solar PV systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar PV systems on new build properties, including panel mounting, wiring, and inverter setup.
• Carry out electrical connections in accordance with current wiring regulations (BS 7671).
• Test, inspect, and commission Solar PV systems to ensure safe and optimal performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
• Coordinate with site managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
• Maintain exceptional health and safety standards on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation or performance issues.

We are working with a growing renewable energy contractor that is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join its expanding team. This role will focus on the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Solar PV systems on new build residential developments across Northampton and the surrounding areas. The Role

As a Solar PV Electrician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solar installations, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
