Job summary

Ganymede Energy is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our growing renewable energy team and deliver second fix electrical installations across new-build housing sites.

You will test and commission Solar PV systems, install inverters and related equipment, perform remedial works, and complete handover paperwork with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) required.
• Solar PV Certification and ECS/Card schemes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
• Install and wire inverters and associated electrical equipment.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
• Complete installation paperwork and provide clear handover information.

Ganymede Energy has partnered with the UK's largest and most successful Solar PV installation company, powered by a market leading energy supplier, to recruit an experienced Solar PV Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity to contract long-term for a growing renewable energy business and play a key role in delivering high-quality Solar PV installations across new-build housing developments.

The Role

As a Solar PV Electrician, you'll be responsible for the second fix electrical installation, testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems
• Installing and wiring inverters and associated electrical equipment.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
• Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.

The Package

Price Per Job: £300 - £500 per day

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or an equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Solar PV Certification
• ECS Card
• Competant Person Scheme - NICEIC, NAPIT etc.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
