Job summary

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair renewable energy systems including Solar PV, ASHP, GSHP, MVHR & EAHP. The role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

You will conduct site assessments, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training to clients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical qualification including AM2.
• 18th Edition qualification is essential.
• Full valid UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients.
• Provide training and support to clients on operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance.

Role Overview:

Responsible for the service schedule of Solar PV systems with assistance for the maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems ASHP, GSHP, MVHR & EAHP.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety

Skills & Experience

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, BPEC, or equivalent Electrical qualification including AM2 (essential)
• Solar PV Installer Qualification (Level 3) (desirable)
• 18th Edition qualification (essential)
• Full valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience within social housing (desirable)
• Experience with heat pumps, district heating, or hybrid renewable systems
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
