Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a 4-month contract role with a local authority in Chichester. The position focuses on project, stakeholder engagement, and communications support for the Solar PV and Battery Storage Energy Services Programme, delivering ~60 renewable energy projects.

The role requires managing stakeholder engagement, ensuring statutory compliance, and contributing to time, cost, quality, and governance objectives across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering public sector projects or programmes.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement and communications activities.
• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key point of contact for contractors, schools, planning authorities, DNOs, and council departments.
• Support stakeholder consultations and engagement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
• Promote collaborative working to support programme delivery.
