Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging projects from inception to completion.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and electrical installers.
• Plan programmes of work, procurement schedules, and project resources.
• Manage project budgets, reporting, and client communications.
• Ensure electrical regulations, certification requirements, and quality standards are met.
• Drive health & safety compliance across all sites.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

The Role

As Solar Project Manager, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of commercial-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging projects from inception to completion


• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and electrical installers


• Planning programmes of work, procurement schedules, and project resources


• Managing project budgets, reporting, and client communications


• Ensuring all works meet electrical regulations, certification requirements, and quality standards


• Driving health & safety compliance across all sites


• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

• Qualified Electrician status with strong technical electrical knowledge


• Experience in solar PV, electrical installations, renewables, or related sectors


• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and/or renewable energy certifications


• Previous project management, supervisory, or site leadership experience


• SMSTS or SSSTS (or willingness to obtain)


• Strong organisational and communication skills


• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem‑solving


• Full UK Driving Licence
