Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Solar Project Manager to lead high‑value renewable energy projects across Wales, including solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging deployments.

You will oversee delivery from planning through to completion, manage budgets, programmes, and client communications, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site. This role offers progression into a full PM position within a growing renewables business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with strong technical electrical knowledge.
• Experience in solar PV, electrical installations, renewables, or related sectors.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and/or renewable energy certifications.
• Previous project management, supervisory, or site leadership experience.
• SMSTS or SSSTS (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging projects from inception to completion.
• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and electrical installers.
• Planning programmes of work, procurement schedules, and project resources.
• Managing project budgets, reporting, and client communications.
• Ensuring all works meet electrical regulations, certification requirements, and quality standards.
• Driving health & safety compliance across all sites.
• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

The Role
