Job summary

Aspire Jobs is seeking a Solar Projects Consultant to lead the solar business unit from opportunity to delivery. You will build relationships with commercial and residential clients and collaborate with the central BDM to grow opportunities.

Responsibilities include using solar design software to create system quotations, conducting site surveys, presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and overseeing projects from design to commissioning while coordinating subcontract labour and installers.

Qualifications

• Previous solar, renewables or related electrical experience.
• Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience presenting proposals to clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with commercial and residential clients.
• Identify opportunities and help build the solar pipeline.
• Attend client meetings and site visits.
• Use manufacturer-specific software to design solar PV systems and prepare quotations.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare tailored proposals.
• Present proposals to clients, in person or online.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with support from the Technical Director.
• Oversee solar PV projects from design and procurement through to installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate materials, subcontract labour and installers.
• Ensure MCS and other reporting requirements are met.
• Keep clients updated and resolve issues.
